A special project with the Urban Gentry
On an unusually cold night in March 2019, we met TGV of The Urban Gentry for dinner at a small restaurant in Astoria. Toward the end of the night, he produced from his pocket his vintage Lord Sanford Skindiver, and proposed the idea of doing a collaboration on a new model that could capture the intrepid spirit of the now discontinued timepiece.
Nearly three years and several prototypes later, we are proud to present the Safari, a watch that radiates the energy and charm of a bygone age. See more here.

FITTINGLY DEBONAIR
The handsome devil is in the details. The Safari calls back to an era of rugged elegance, with its 36mm bubbleback-style case, heat-blued hands, and enamel finished, ivory-colored sector dial. It's the perfect companion for the stylish adventurer.
Shown here on a 6 in. wrist.
ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT
The Safari uses C3 Superluminova on its hands and markers. On the dial, the luminous compound is 3D printed at a thickness of 0.3mm to make for easy reading in low-light conditions.
PROUDLY OLD-FASHIONED
Just like its forebears, the Safari sports a Hesalite crystal. It's stood the test of time on the wrists of explorers, mountaineers, divers, and even astronauts. And it has a distinct clarity and charm sapphire just can't replicate.
Afraid of scratches? The Safari includes a tube of Polywatch and polishing cloth to keep it looking like new.
HOW TO ORDER
As a collaboration, the Safari was never intended to be a permanent part of our collection. However, we feel that our initial plan of producing only 150 of each colorway might not be enough, and could leave a lot of people who wanted one very upset. We love this watch, and we want to give everybody who wants one a chance to get it.
The Safari will still be released as a limited edition, but the limit will be time. They will only be available for purchase from December 11, 11:00 AM US ET, to December 12, 11:59 PM US ET.
The first 150 of each colorway will be shipped the following week. Any orders beyond that will be made-to-order, with a delivery time of 4-6 months (no cancellations). The ordering page will change if/when the first batch is sold out, so you will know before payment whether or not your Safari will be made-to-order. After the order window closes, the Safari goes in the vault, never to be made again.
